Insurance Information and Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that dental care can be expensive which is why we offer special financing options through Care Credit of 6 months 0% interest. Financing is subject to credit approval. Ask us about this option or click the link below for more information.

We are committed to providing our patients with the best comprehensive dental care possible. We always recommend your treatment based on your dental needs, not by what your insurance company covers. Dental insurance is a benefit to help assist you with the cost. All charges you incur for your dental care are your responsibility regardless of insurance coverage. As your dental provider, our relationship is with you and not the insurance company.

Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment so that we can expedite reimbursement.

We participate with Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield and Heath Economics. For any other dental insurance, except for state funded or Medicaid policies, we will submit claims and accept payment from all dental insurance plans that will pay to out-of-network providers.

Our practice accepts cash, personal checks, Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We work with CareCredit to offer a 6-month interest free payment plan.

Frequently Asked Question’s

Can I still utilize my insurance benefits at your office?

Many times, patients will receive part of their provider’s fee reimbursed as an “out-of-network” doctor. Patients should call their insurance carriers to find out what kind of out-of-network coverage they have. If you are eligible for dental benefits, we will submit your claims for you. Upon request, we can provide you with a predetermination of benefits; however, this estimate is not a guarantee of payment. Please keep in mind that your plan is based on the kind of policy that your employer has chosen for you and is a contract between your employer and dental insurance company.

Are you in network with my insurance?

In the current health care system, insurance companies dictate the type of care you receive, based on a
predetermined benefit reimbursement rate. Doctors are limited to the level of patient care dependent
on their insurance allowance.

For the reasons listed above, we have chosen NOT to participate with any dental insurance companies
so that we may treat you as an individual and provide you with the proper care for your needs utilizing
the most cutting-edge technology.

Can I use my Medicare insurance at your office?

We are a proud Medicare provider and in certain instances some oral surgery procedures are covered. Medicare Advantage plans are not subject to oral surgery benefits and Medicare does NOT cover routine dental care.

How do I know if I have a Medicare Advantage plan?

If you look at your supplemental health insurance card and anywhere on the card it lists PPO or HMO, the plan is not one that we are able to bill for oral surgery procedure.
